about

After years of collaborating exclusively online, Jason Mullinax and Daniel Euphrat (Timmy Sells His Soul) finally managed to meet face to face in June of 2008. Over the course of one weekend they wrote, performed and recorded the following album. At once dark, mysterious and playful, Chamber of the Egg is an almost ritualistic music that blends elements of world, jazz, and ambient electronica into its folds. Best listened to on headphones in the dark.

about

Pilesar Washington, D.C.

Pilesar (pronounced pie-LEE-zur) was the main musical outlet for Jason A Mullinax between the years 1998- 2014.

Pilesar was a conjuror of idiosyncratic lo-fi pop ditties, rhythmically dense improvisations and wildly eclectic live performances.

The albums represented here are an archive of his best material throughout the years.
